Fire Alarms

In a conventional fire alarm system the various parts of the system are connected by wires. This can mean quite a fair amount of disruption and cost in fitting all the wiring required and associated redecoration.

In a wireless Fire alarm system the various elements such as call points, sounders beacons etc. all communicate with the central control panel by wireless.

This means that installation of the alarm system is far simpler with very little disruption to existing decor and can result in a substantial saving in installation costs.

This is partly outweighed by the increased cost of wireless components but generally the systems can work out cheaper because of reduced installation costs. In buildings which are in daily use such as hotels etc. the saving in loss of use of the facility also need to be considered.

Existing alarm systems can be augmented by the addition of a wireless system to cover extra areas of building development or expansion. The wireless system and the conventional system can usually  be made to work together as one.
